Mark A. Henry M.D.

Mark A. Henry, M.D., has practiced ophthalmology in Somerset, KY, since August 1991. He is a medical doctor and surgeon with over 30 years of experience, specializing in ophthalmology and diseases of the eye. He graduated “with high distinction” from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University in 1990.

Since that time, Dr. Henry has successfully performed over 40,000 cataract surgery procedures and successful Lasik, glaucoma and other opthalmic surgical procedures. Dr. Henry has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1991. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and served on the Board of Kentucky Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons from 2003 to 2022. He is a member of the Kentucky Medical Association and the Pulaski County Medical Society.
