Our Lifestyle Lenses® (also known as premium or multi-focal intraocular lenses) are used in the treatment of cataracts to restore bright, vibrant and youthful vision. In standard cataract surgery, a clear mono-focal lens is inserted as a replacement for your clouded lens, allowing for vision correction at a single distance. With a standard procedure, patients requiring glasses or readers will still need them after surgery. HOWEVER, LifeStyle Lenses feature advanced technology that adjusts focus within the eye. This feature allows your eye to focus on both far and near objects.
Most LifeStyle Lens patients are able to eliminate or dramatically reduce their dependency on readers and bifocals following surgery. These remarkable lenses are designed for permanent insertion within the eye, and are a significant improvement over monofocal lenses.
